AmiQuote does not import with checkbox automatic import on

Question

AmiQuote does not import even though I have automatic import checkbox on.

"Automatic import" is based on OLE and do to the way how OLE automation works, two conditions must be met:

• AmiBroker must be already running with correct database
• the bitness of AmiBroker must match the bitness of AmiQuote (so if you are using 32-bit AmiQuote it will import into running 32-bit AmiBroker instance)

If you mixed up AmiQuote and AmiBroker versions, it will open wrong instance. So if you want to import data downloaded by 32-bit AmiQuote into 64-bit AmiBroker you need to do that manually using ASCII importer

First condition OK but for the second I have a problem because :

Because of the transition to new compiler, 64-bit version 3.14 is postponed, you can use 32-bit version instead.

Does this mean that I cannot use Amibroker 64bit until the 64bit version of Amiquote is available ?

You could use 64-bit AmiBroker with 32-bit AmiQuote if you did not install BOTH 32-bit and 64-bit AmiBroker versions. If you leave just 64-bit, it will work because then 32-bti won't take precedence.
